The continued tradition of excellence in the classroom by Penn State student-athletes was celebrated at the 3rd annual Penn State Athletics Academic Celebration.
The impressive number of Academic All-Americans and Academic All-Big Ten student-athletes at Penn State are proudly displayed in the main lobby of the Morgan Academic Center. The mission of the Morgan Academic Center is to o provide nationally recognized support services to all student-athletes as they fully engage in the Penn State’s educational experience.
Academic All-Big Ten honoree and Penn State track and field standout Danae Rivers revealed the new total of Penn State student-athletes who have earned Academic All-Big Ten honors. Through 2018-19 the total number of Academic All-Big Ten student-athletes at Penn State increased from 5,992 to 6, 329.
Penn State’s Director of Athletics Sandy Barbour congratulated Penn State’s student-athletes on their continuous excellence academically during the 3rd annual Penn State Athletics Academic Celebration held at the Morgan Academic Center Jan. 28. Last spring a record number of student-athletes earned Academic All-Big Ten honors.
